KASK café

In the first semester of the second year, we were commissioned to renovate the KASK café. This is a restaurant / café that is accessible to all students, teachers and third parties of the School Of Arts.

 

 

My concept was completely inspired by the campus itself. The Bijloke already has a great history, which creates great contrasts between the old and the new buildings. I also wanted to bring this contrast in the KASK café.

 

I've mainly worked with different place values, because not all functions have the same needs. From a table to dine with a large group to a workplace to a lounge to drink a coffee at leisure
